Common questions

How does the recipe limit work?
You can create 50 new recipes each month included in your plan; beyond that it's $0.50 per recipe — you're never blocked. Storing recipes is always free and unlimited, so your full formulation history stays safe forever. The monthly count resets each billing cycle.
What is Paste & Go?
Drop a raw ingredient list — like "2 tbsp olive oil, 1 cup all-purpose flour" — and BetterMenu's AI parses each line, matches it to a verified USDA entry, and converts units to gram weights automatically. You get 1,000 ingredients a month included (about 75 recipes), then $0.012 each. Adding ingredients by hand (searching USDA yourself) is always free and never counts.
Could a busy month surprise me with a big bill?
No. You set a monthly AI spend ceiling (on by default) — when you reach it, AI pauses and asks you to approve more before anything else is charged. Your recipes, labels, and history always stay accessible. You're never billed past a number you've agreed to.
Do AI agents count as editor seats?
No. Agents connect via OAuth2 (Claude Connectors) and authenticate as your existing account. They don't create new editor seats. You can run as many Claude sessions as you like on any plan without hitting a seat limit.
What happens if I cancel and re-subscribe?
Early adopter pricing is held as long as you stay continuously subscribed. Cancelling breaks the lock — if you re-subscribe, you'll be on the current pricing at that time.
Is there an annual plan?
Not yet — we're monthly-only while we build out the full feature set. Annual plans will be available once the product stabilises. Early adopters will be offered the best rates when it launches.
